ENROLLING ONLINE (when available)
To accept your Offer in a Full Time course at West Coast Institute of Training, please select SELF ENROLMENT => ACCEPT TAFE ADMISSIONS OFFER from the top menu bar. In order to complete your enrolment, you will need your Application Number, which can be found on your Letter of Offer or on the Admissions website. You can either pay for your course in full using a credit card (Visa and MasterCard only) or you can select to Pay at the College. If you select to pay at the college, please be aware that this does not secure your place in the course, payment must be made at the Institute by 4pm, 4th July 2012 to secure your place. PLEASE NOTE:
Course Fee exemptions apply for eligible unemployed people to undertake one vocational education and training qualification (Please Note: You will still be required to pay Resource
and Other Fees). To be eligible for an exemption on course fees, you must be identified as unemployed through either a:
· Centrelink Health Care Card – Newtstart Allowance; or
· Centrelink Health Care Card – Youth Allowance – Job Seeker; or
· Job Seeker ID issued through Centrelink or a Job Network member
Enrolment Checklist
· By enrolling in a course, you acknowledge that you have fulfilled the course unit pre-requisite and course entrance requirements.
· If you have entered concession details, you will need to provide proof of your concession eligibility to Student Services within 2 weeks of the commencement of your Study.
· Please complete and submit to your study area the West Coast Institute of Training Talent Consent and Release Form which is located under COLLEGE INFORMATION > VIEW DOWNLOADABLE DOCUMENTS area of the Student Portal.
· For some study areas, you may be required to purchase a uniform, please contact your study area for further information.
· Student ID Cards and the 2012 Student Diary can be collected from Student Services from the commencement of Semester.
· A Parking Permit is required to park on the Joondalup campus between 8am – 4pm. You will need to complete an Application for Parking Permit which is located under COLLEGE INFORMATION > VIEW DOWNLOADABLE DOCUMENTS area of the Student Portal and present this to Student Services for payment.
You may be eligible for funding towards your studies of up to $500 if you are 40 years of age of older and not working more than 30 hours per week. Please contact Employment Directions on 9300 3322 for eligibility requirements and further information.
ALREADY ENROLLED AT WEST COAST?
· STUDENT PORTAL USERS
Select Login from the left hand menu. Your User Name is your Institute Student No, which is 02 followed by your West Coast Institute of Training Student ID. Your default Password will be your date of birth, entered in the following format without spaces – ddmmyyyy. If you require your password to be reset, please call our IT Helpdesk on 9233 1040.
Your West Coast Institute of Training Student ID can be found on your Enrolment Form or on a Statement of Academic Record or you may phone the Institute on 1300 134 881. Once you have logged in, you can view your enrolments, results and awards or enrol into Courses (where available).
